The Resting Place: The Final Months....

Well I am now in my 9th month of pregnancy. Boy has it been a journey. Not only have I been working nearly 50 hours a week, but also graduated summer school! I left college my senior year to work on the Mccain campaign (Yes i know, don't hate me, but I used to be a neocon) Anywho... ever since then Ive been working non stop, after the Mccain campaign I interned at my senator's office, then took a job as a dancer and performer for Nickelodeon, then got hired at a political consultant firm in D.C. that had me working for a couple senators as well as a gun and prolife organization. It was fun, but my life has been so fast paced and non stop ever since 2008 that I never once had the chance to finish up the few credits I had left to graduate with my bachelors degree. So now that I am pregnant, living in a peaceful area in a beautiful home and about to start my own little family, this will be the first time in 4 years that I have ever been in one spot, and stable enough to finish up. So I decided to definitely take advantage of it. Plus the company I work for now, is willing to pay for my school. So even if I decide to get a masters or additional degree after finishing my bachelors, my company would be giving me MAJOR financial help, which is really nice of them.

I am really in awe at how easy this pregnancy has been. Perhaps its just that because the first few months were so awful, and my personal life was so awful the first 3 months of pregnancy that everything in comparison seems like a cakewalk, or its probably the fact I am still pretty young, and was in pretty good physical shape when I got pregnant. Besides the fact my body is very deformed looking due to what looks like a giant basketball growing on my stomach and my entire body is swollen, I have very little discomfort, absolutely no problem sleeping at night, and quite alot of physical and mental energy. Were it not for the fact I keep getting fatter I would not even realize I was pregnant! So, let's see, I dont think I have given an update since my baby shower. I had a wonderful time in Dallas for my shower, and it was definitely good to see the family and friends since I will be MIA for several months after having Scarlett.

After returning back to Arizona from Dallas I attended a freedom festival in the beautiful Payson area of Arizona. It was really nice to hang out and meet all the other "liberty" peeps. At that point I was already a whopping 8 MONTHS pregnant!

I really enjoyed it, I love meeting other people I can bounce ideas off of and people who are interested in the world around them and making it a better place. Plus it was just nice to meet all the other liberty folks in the area. After that I had finals for school and then took a couple days off work to make a final trip to Washington D.C. before having my child. By that point I was over 8 and a half months pregnant and absolutely HUGE!..lol trust me by the time you hit 8 months you look like you are about to pop! I went up for the year reunion of the Lemonade Freedom Day, and also went to show my support for the "Raw Milk Freedom Riders" They did a joint event on Capitol Hill, that was a lovely picnic where lemonade and raw milk were sold, it was moreso a rejection of monolithic and over reaching government regulations that hinder free enterprise. Besides attending the event, It was just good to see my friends that I havent seen in months and catch up. 8 months pregnant posing with my friend Eddie on our way to the "Know your Rights" Workshop and Banquet in D.C.
After being around so many rebels and activists perhaps my daughter will be a little civil disobedience baby! hehe. I do look forward to teaching her the concepts and principles that have helped shape my world view.

Well, I am now well into my 9th month of pregnancy, and we are now counting down days! Its crazy to think the next time I post about my progress it will be to introduce my daughter, and show off her adorable nursery and my remodeled house.
